Patti Thigpen, Doctor of Audiology and owner, has been involved in hearing healthcare since 1980 in the fields of speech and hearing sciences. Having graduated locally from MTSU and UTK, Patti obtained her doctorate (AuD)  from Salus University at Pennsylvania.  Patti’s experience includes positions as director of audiology programs, consultant for school based hearing impaired programs, newborn hearing screening director and industrial consultant for noise management programs.  She provided clinical supervision of audiology college students and was employeed as a speech therapist for 7 years in the public school system.  She worked within medical ENT practices for 15 years developing the audiology departments for growth and services provided.  These programs offered a selection of hearing amplification, hearing protection devices, musician monitoring systems and thorough diagnostics. She assisted with implementation of newborn hearing screening programs within three hospitals and served as regional guest speaker for management of newborn hearing loss. She continues to serve newborn through adult populations.  She currently is a member of the American Speech Hearing Language Association, Chamber of Commerce, Member of New Vison Baptist Church and previous foster parent.  Dr. Thigpen enjoys an independent private practice offering quality hearing aids and related premium hearing healthcare in Middle Tennessee.

Dana Pendarvis, Doctor of Audiology, has been working in the field of audiology since 1995.  Originally from Mississippi, Dr. Pendarvis moved to Tennessee after obtaining her Master’s degree in Audiology.  In 2007, she completed her doctorate (AuD) from the University of Florida.  Dr. Pendarvis has worked within medical ENT practices and most recently was a regional sales manager providing audiology equipment and training to hearing healthcare professionals within the state of Tennessee.  Dr. Pendarvis joined Thigpen Hearing Center part-time in October, 2009.  She and her husband have one daughter and are members of New Vision Baptists Church.
