Professional Staff

Patti Thigpen, owner and licensed audiologist, has 27 years experience in the field of speech and hearing sciences. Having graduated from MTSU and UTK, Patti is currently a doctoral candidate at Pennsylvania College of Optometry and will complete a Doctor of Audiology degree (AuD) this year. Patti’s experience includes positions as director of audiology program, consultant for school based hearing impaired programs, newborn hearing screening director and industrial consultant for noise management programs. These programs offer a selection of hearing amplification, hearing protection devices, musician monitoring systems and thorough diagnostics. She assisted with implementation of newborn hearing screening programs within three hospitals and served as regional guest speaker for management of newborn hearing loss. She continues to serve newborn through adult populations through her business. She is a member of American Speech Hearing Language Association.
