Question: I have trouble understanding TV, even with my hearing aids. What do you think is wrong?

Answer: The first thing to do is verify with your audiologist that your hearing aids are set precisely for your optimal benefit. Next, consider the distance from the TV to your ears. Your TV sound is being interrupted by other sounds within the room. Also, sometimes within the TV show there is background noise and fast speech. The best solution is to send the sound straight from the TV to your hearing aids. No longer would the TV sound travel through the room to your aids, but would rather be sent wirelessly directly to the aids and then adjusted within the aids for your specific hearing loss. This technology is very effective and produces good sound quality. We are happy to demonstrate this option for you.
